Background
The Public Hearing was conducted on August 7, 2014. No questions from the public were received. The vacation of drainage and utility easements and street right-of-way is being requested to accommodate development within the plat of Harpers West.  New easements and right of way will be dedicated with the proposed plat of Springbrook.  Ordinance No. 14-2289 was introduced for first reading at the August 7, 2014 Council meeting and is presented at this time for adoption.

THE CITY OF BLAINE DOES ORDAIN:  Chapter 209 is adopted as an Ordinance of the City of Blaine to read: (Added portions are underscored and deleted portions are shown in brackets with overstrike.)
 
Chapter 209  -  Vacation of drainage and utility easements and street right-of-way
 
209.01  -   All of the drainage and utility easements, as dedicated in HARPERS WEST, according to the recorded plat thereof, Anoka County, Minnesota.
 
Together with:
 
129th Lane N.E., as dedicated in HARPERS WEST, according to the recorded plat thereof, Anoka County, Minnesota.
 
209.02  -  Said vacation has been made after Notice of Public Hearing in conformance with Minnesota Statutes and pursuant to Chapter 12, Section 12.06, of the City Charter of the City of Blaine.
 
INTRODUCED AND READ in full the 7th day of August, 2014.
