ADMINISTRATION - Joe Huss, Finance Director
Title
AMEND NORTH METRO TV COMMISSION JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT
Background
North Metro Television (NMTV) Cable Commission, of which Blaine is one of the members, is requesting two amendments to the Commission’s Joint Powers Agreement (JPA.) The first will allow NMTV to issue up to $2.5 million in debt obligations to provide financing for any purpose that is consistent with the authority granted to the Commission; the second amendment allows for expanded use of franchise fees from that of just cable-related expenses to include expenses for citizen communications.
Recommendation
Approve following resolution amending JPA
