APPROVE 2020 ANNUAL LICENSE RENEWALS

Background

Staff has received the 2020 License Renewal Applications from the attached list of Blaine businesses.  The following licenses are eligible for renewable on January 1, 2020:

• Amusement Centers
• Amusement Devices
• Garbage Haulers
• Massage Enterprise
• Massage Individual (approved administratively-included as information only)
• Pawnbroker/Secondhand Goods Dealer
• Tobacco

All City Code requirements have been met and renewal fees have been deposited with the City.  The City Council has the authority to approve or deny any of these licenses for reasons outlined in City Code. 

Recommendation

By motion, approve the 2020 license renewals.
