AMEND THE NEIGHBORHOOD TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT PROGRAM DATED JUNE 2005
 
Background
The City Council has discussed the Neighborhood Traffic Management Plan at previous meetings in conjunction with traffic calming requests from residents.  After these discussions, the City Council has directed staff to bring back an amendment to address local streets with over 2,000 vehicles per day.  
 
The following paragraph is added to the Cost Estimate and Funding section of the Neighborhood Traffic Management Program found on page 9.
 
- For those local streets that carry in excess of 2,000 vehicles per day the City of Blaine will pay 75% of the construction and installation costs of major strategies while the neighborhood affected will pay 25% of the cost.

By motion, approve amendment to Neighborhood Traffic Management Program dated June 2005
