Background
A petition dated January 14, 2013, was submitted to the City by Woodland Development Corporation of Ham Lake, Minnesota, requesting vacation of drainage and utility easements for Lot 1, Block 6, Gardenwood. This vacation is being requested as it no longer conforms to the revised preliminary plat and the lot will be replatted. The applicant is a single property owner who represents 100% of the affected property abutting this easement.

Recommendation
By motion, approve the Resolution.
Body
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a petition dated the 14th day of January, 2013, requesting vacation of drainage and utility easements for Lot 1, Block 6, Gardenwood; and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has reviewed the petition and recommends that the City Council hold a Public Hearing on the requested vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Blaine as follows:
1. The Council will consider the petitioned vacation of drainage and utility easements for the property owner.
2. A Public Hearing shall be held on the proposed vacation at 8:00 p.m. on the 7th day of March, 2013, and the City Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and vacation as required by law.
