SQUAD VIDEO REPLACEMENT CAMERAS
Background
In the adoption of the 2020 Capital Budget, Council appropriated the funding for certain pieces of equipment in the Capital Equipment Plan. Pursuant to the City Charter, Sec. 6.05, staff is now requesting City Council approval for the actual purchase of new squad video cameras and systems so we may start the ordering process immediately. This is a 5 year contract with the state vendor with $185,000 annually for the subsequent 4 years that will be added into the General Fund Budget.

Recommendation
By motion, contingent of the 2020 Capital Budget approval, approve expenditure of up to $270,000 from Axon Enterprise.
