Title
APPROVE A CARNIVAL LICENSE FOR GOPHER STATE EXPOSITIONS
Background
Randy Arthur Forcier, owner of Gopher State Expositions, Inc., has submitted an application to hold a carnival at Northtown Mall May 24th through May 28th and May 31st through June 3, 2012. The applicant will not be running the carnival May 29th and May 30th.
The applicant has deposited with the City a $900 license fee, a certificate of liability insurance naming the City as an additional insured, and all other application materials. A background check has been completed by the Police Department and no problems or complaints are on file that would prohibit the issuance of a license. An inspection will be completed by the Deputy Fire Marshal during carnival set-up prior to release of the license.
Recommendation
By motion, approve the Carnival License for Gopher State Expositions at Northtown Mall, May 24th thru May 28th and May 31 thru June 3, 2012.
