POLICE EXPLORER RECOGNITION
Background
Members of the Blaine Police Explorer program will be present to be recognized for their recent showing at the 2014 National Law Enforcement Learning for Life Conference and Competition, held in Bloomington, Indiana in July.
Three Blaine Explorer teams participated with more than 2,000 other youth in the competition and competed in six law enforcement scenarios at nationals, earning titles in two of those events: first place in the Arrest and Search scenario (search warrant simulation) and fourth place in the White Collar Crime scenario.
The Explorers will also be recognized for State competition this past spring along with their overall dedication to the City of Blaine. Additionally, we will be recognizing long-time Explorer Lead Advisor, Sergeant Brian Owens.
