APPROVE A CARNIVAL LICENSE FOR AMUSEMENT ATTRACTIONS, AT AQUATORE PARK FOR THE BLAINE FESTIVAL,
JUNE 27 THROUGH JUNE 29, 2014
Background
William Purdy, owner of Amusement Attractions, has submitted an application to hold a carnival at Aquatore Park, June 27 from 5:00 p.m. until midnight, June 28 from 11:00 a.m until midnight and June 29, 2014 from 12:00 noon until midnight for the Blaine Festival Celebration.
The applicant has deposited with the City a $300 license fee, a certificate of liability insurance naming the City as an additional insured, and all other application materials. A background check has been completed by the Police Department and no problems or complaints are on file that would prohibit the issuance of a license. An inspection will be completed by the Deputy Fire Marshal during carnival set-up prior to release of the license.
Recommendation
By motion, approve the carnival license for Amusement Attractions at Aquatore Park, June 27 through June 29, 2014.
