COMPLETE 2014 CAPITAL PURCHASE OF SQUAD COMPUTERS
Background
On November 6, 2014 the City Council approved the purchase of four ruggedized notebook computers. The four notebook computers were subsequently returned to the vendor because they did not meet configuration requirements. Thus, the purchase was not completed in 2014. Staff respectfully requests Council approval to carry over the 2014 appropriation and approve the purchase of four ruggedized notebook computers from Brite. With Council approval, the computers will be purchased at a price that matches the State of Minnesota cooperative purchasing program price.
Recommendation
By motion, approve the carryover of 2014 appropriation for, and the payment of $15,996.00 to Brite for four ruggedized notebook computers.
