ACCEPTANCE OF DONATIONS FOR PARKS AND RECREATION PROGRAMS
Background
The Parks and Recreation Department receives donations from civic groups and businesses to enhance special event programs such as World Fest, Blaine Triathlon, Kids Triathlon, Performance in the Park, and seven other community events. Over the course of 2015, the Parks and Recreation Department has received cash donations of $43,200 and in-kind donations valued at $9,545. The Parks and Recreation Department would like to thank the following civic groups and businesses for their donations:
