Background

Andrea Lazenby, applicant, 808 Irelan Street, Lowell, Arizona 72745 has submitted an application for a tobacco and tobacco products license for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. dba Wal-Mart #3498, located at 4369 Ball Road NE, Blaine.  The 4369 Ball Road NE location will open on September 23^rd and 4405 Pheasant Ridge Drive NE location will close on September 22^nd.  The applicant has met the licensing requirements by completing all necessary forms and depositing the fee with the City.

The Blaine Police Department has completed a background investigation on the applicant and found nothing to prohibit the issuance of a tobacco license.

Approval of the tobacco license is contingent upon approval of the Certificate of Occupancy.

Recommendation

By motion, approve a tobacco and tobacco products license for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. dba Wal-Mart #3498, 4369 Ball Road NE, Blaine.
