Background
Public and written notice has been provided as required by City Charter. The vacation of drainage and utility easements is being requested for the replatting of the existing town home lots into single family lots. The applicant is a single property owner who represents 100% of the affected property abutting this easement. New easements will be dedicated with the new plat. The Engineering Department and Xcel Energy have reviewed this request and concur with the vacation.
Ordinance No. 13-2255 was introduced for first reading at the January 3, 2013 meeting and is presented at this time for adoption.

Chapter 199 - Vacation of Drainage and Utility Easements
199.01 - All drainage and utility easements as dedicated on Lot 17, Block 1, and Lot 10, Block 2, SHADOW PONDS, Anoka County, Minnesota.
199.02 - Said vacation has been made after Notice of Public Hearing in conformance with Minnesota Statutes and pursuant to Chapter 12, Section 12.06, of the City Charter of the City of Blaine.
