AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF $20,915.61 TO LEAGUE OF MINNESOTA CITIES INSURANCE TRUST FOR A CLAIM SETTLEMENT
Background
Pursuant to Section 6.05 of the Blaine Charter, the Council is asked to approve the payment of $20,915.61 to the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust (LMCIT), for payment of a claim. This claim is for a sewer backup into homes of multiple claimants caused by sand that entered the sewer system during a water main break.
Recommendation
By motion, authorize payment of $20,915.61 to LMCIT.
