Title
APPROVE AN ON-SALE 3.2 PERCENT MALT BEVERAGE LICENSE FOR VICTORY PIZZERIA & PUB, 9967 ULYSSES STREET NE
Background
The applicant, James Schmitz, owner of Victory Pizzeria & Pub has submitted an application and all supporting documentation for an On-Sale 3.2 Percent Malt Beverage license.
The applicant has deposited the $300 license fee with the City, evidence of liquor liability insurance, and has completed all forms to meet licensing requirements. The Police Department completed a background check and there was nothing to prohibit the issuance of a license.
The applicant is currently in the process of applying for an On-Sale Intoxicating liquor license, however, due to publication requirements and Council's meeting schedule, the applicant wants to utilize the 3.2 On-Sale Beer in the interim. The Department of Public Safety, Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement Division, has concurred that this can be done for the applicant.

By motion, approve the issuance of an On-Sale 3.2 percent Malt beverage license for Victory Pizzeria & Pub, 9967 Ulysses Street NE, Blaine.
