Ratification of Law Enforcement Labor Services Local 340 (Police Sergeants) Labor Agreement for 2023-2025

Background
The City of Blaine and the Law Enforcement Labor Services, Local 340 (police sergeants) have reached agreement on the labor contract covering the three years beginning January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2025. The agreement presented is the same as was approved at the November 21, 2022 Council meeting other than the substitution of one sentence.
“Employees will be eligible to progress through the salary range subject to satisfactory performance criteria.”
is replaced with the following:
“Employees will be eligible to progress to the 12-month step subject to satisfactory performance criteria.”
Recommended Council Action
By motion, ratify the contract between the Law Enforcement Labor Services, Local 340 and the City of Blaine for calendar years 2023-2025.
