Executive Summary
Council is asked to approve a carnival license for an upcoming event.
Background
William Purdy, Amusement Attractions, Inc. has submitted an application to hold a carnival at Aquatore Park from June 23-June 26 for the Blaine Festival celebration. The applicant has deposited a $500 license fee, certificate of liability insurance naming the City as an additional insured, and all other application materials.
A background check has been completed by the Police Department and no concerns or complaints were found that would prohibit issuance of this license. An inspection will be completed by a fire inspector during carnival set-up prior to release of this license.
