Capital Equipment - Sweeper Purchase Cost Revision
Executive Summary
The City Council approved the purchase of a new Tymco Sweeper at its December 20, 2021 meeting. Staff inadvertently left off the cost of sales tax in the approval amount. The City Council is being asked to revise the purchase approval to include the additional cost of sales tax.
Background
In the adoption of the 2022 Capital Budget, Council appropriated funding for certain pieces of equipment in the Capital Equipment Plan.
The City Council approved the purchase of a new Tymco Sweeper at its December 20, 2021 meeting. Staff inadvertently left off the cost of sales tax in the approval amount. The revised amount is over the initial budget amount. Sufficient funds exist in the Stormwater Enterprise Fund reserve to cover this expense.
