Executive Summary
Council is asked to approve a carnival license.
Background
Randy Arthur Forcier, Gopher State Expositions, Inc., has submitted an application to hold a carnival at Northtown Mall May 12 - 22, 2022 from 11AM until 10:00PM. The applicant has paid the $1,200 license fee, submitted a certificate of liability insurance naming the City as additional insured, and all other application materials. A complete site plan required by Fire for review is pending at this time.
A background check for Mr. Forcier is in process by the Police Department, issuance of the license is dependent upon a successful background. An inspection will be completed by a Fire Inspector during carnival set-up prior to release of this license.
