Council is asked to approve a tobacco and tobacco products license which will allow the applicant to sell tobacco products.
Background
Adnan Safi, applicant and President of Fog Tobacco Plus Inc, has applied for a tobacco and tobacco products license for Fog Tobacco Plus Inc. DBA Circle Smoke Shop Plus located at 8550 Lexington Avenue NE #100. The applicant has met the licensing requirements by completing all necessary forms and paying associated fees. The current license holder at this location has indicated that he will be relocating elsewhere in Blaine; Mr. Safi will be moving to this location at that time. This license is for the exclusive tobacco shop in this building.
The Blaine Police Department is conducting a background investigation, issuance of the license is contingent upon background. If approved, the tobacco license will be effective through December 31, 2022.
