Background
Aquatore Shelter Replacements - The shelters are completed. The electrician will hang the lights in March and seeding will take place in the spring.
WSB and Associates and HCM Architects presented this concept for the Blaine Wetland Sanctuary Shelter and Restroom facility to the council last week. The architect is making some adjustments to the plan and staff will be bringing it to council at a later date for approval.
Band shell update - staff had the kick - off meeting with ISG and the festival committee last week. The meeting went well; however, it looks like the project may be over budget to start.
Summer recreation employment is still open. The positions that are available are Play - Net leaders, Youth Sports coaches and Beach attendants.
Staff we be offering a Ping Pong program at the Mary Ann Young Center starting in March.
Birthday lunches and celebrations have been well attended at the Mary Ann Young Center.
Staff at the Mary Ann Young Center will be hosting the first Liver and Onions dinner in over two years. The dinner is set for March 15.
