CARES FUNDING UPDATE

Background

At the August 3 Workshop, staff updated the Council on the CARES Act program and the work to date on securing the funding and establishing a funding plan. Later that evening at the City Council meeting, the City’s Small Business Grant Program, funded with a portion of the $5 million in CARES funding the City has received, was approved by Council.

Staff will be providing the Council with regular updates regarding the use of CARES funds and the status of CARES-funded programs.
