Title
CONSIDERATION OF THE SALE OF SITE 7 WETLAND CREDITS TO WASHINGTON COUNTY
Background
Washington County is proposing road work on County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 18. The project requires the County to fill wetland.
They have indicated to the City that they would like to purchase the necessary 0.15 acres of wetland credits from the City Wetland Bank which meets the mitigation requirements of the watershed. 0.15 acres (6,534 square feet) of wetland credits would need to be purchased from the City at the sale price of $2 per square foot or in this case approximately $13,068.
The City’s Wetland Bank currently has just over 12 acres currently available.
