APPROVE OF STORM DAMAGE REPAIRS TO PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY BY McGOUGH IN THE AMOUNT OF $97,716.

Background

This item is doing storm damage repairs to various parts of the Public Works Facility including the siding and metalwork around the building.  McGough our Facility Manager has procured quotes from various vendors and has given us a budget of $97,716 to do the repairs.  The City has received approval from our Insurance provider, League of Minnesota Cities (LMCIT) to proceed with this work.

This project will be funded by our Insurance Fund and be reimbursed by the LMCIT.  Staff is continuing to work on storm damage facility repairs from the storm event so the Council may see additional items in future meetings.

Recommendation

By motion approve of McGough to perform storm damage repairs to the Public Works Facility in the amount of $97,716.
