APPROVE OF STORM DAMAGE REPAIRS TO VARIOUS PARK BUILDINGS IN THE AMOUNT OF $73,930
Background
This item will approve of roof repairs to shelters and buildings at the listed sites. These roofs were damaged in the June 2017 storm event, and staff has worked with our Insurance Company, League of Minnesota Insurance Trust (LMCIT) and has procured quotes and gotten approval from LMCIT that these repairs will be reimbursed to the City. The low bidder for this series of repairs is Up-Top Construction who has previously done work for the City. To date the LMCIT has approved over $300,000 in reimbursements from the June 2017 storm event to City facilities.
The funds will come from our Insurance Fund and City costs will be reimbursed by LMCIT.

Staff is continuing to get updated quotes and receive approvals for other structures, so the Council should see some additional items at future meetings.

By motion, approve of storm damage repairs to various park buildings by Up-Top Construction in the amount of $73,930.
