APPROVAL OF 2019-2020 VENDING TRUCK LICENSES
Background
The following individuals have submitted applications for vending truck licenses:

Faisal Ice Cream
Faisal Kazar, Owner/Operator

Blaine, MN 55449
The required $100 fee and all application materials to operate one vending truck within the City has been submitted by Faisal Ice Cream. Faisal Ice Cream has complied with code requirements relative to liability insurance and has applied for a retail mobile food handler’s license through the Minnesota Department of Agriculture; the license will be issued once received.
Blaine Anoka Ice Cream has submitted application materials. The Certificate of Insurance and the retail mobile food handler’s license through the Minnesota Department of Agriculture are pending. The license will be issued once all the paperwork has been submitted.
The Blaine Police Department has completed a background investigation for both vending truck applicants and found nothing to prohibit the issuance of these licenses. The vending licenses shall be effective May 1, 2019 through April 30, 2020.
Recommendation
By motion, approve the 2019-2020 temporary vending truck licenses.
