2017 EDA GOALS AND DIRECTIVES

Background

Staff would like to have a discussion with the EDA regarding several topics of interest in 2017.  They are:

1.)                     Tax Increment Financing (TIF) and EDA general fund balances, budgeting, and projects.

2.)                     EDA assistance options for redevelopment of 102^nd Ave. and University Ave.

3.)                     Targeted Retail Marketing - Grocery store and other general trends/communications.

4.)                     Small Business Start-Up/Entrepreneurship Opportunities.

Staff will present each item individually and discuss accordingly.  Included is a background memo and attachments for each individual item.

Recommendation

Discuss each item and provide necessary direction to staff.
