WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT PLAN AND ORDINANCE UPDATE

Background

At the December 15, 2016 City Council workshop staff presented information regarding the management of wildlife specifically deer in the City of Blaine.  Additionally, there was discussion about creating an ordinance to minimize the feeding of wildlife.  Staff is reviewing this information with council.

Recommendation

At the March 2, 2017 City Council meeting, adopt by resolution the Wildlife Management Plan; and adopt an ordinance to minimize wildlife feeding.
