*per discussion held at the council workshop September 7, 2022, City Council indicated support for the staff recommended refuse collection rates and are comfortable to adopt the budget as proposed for 2023. Additionally, Council expressed desire for staff to bring forward a due diligence analysis showing how Walters rates compare against other organized haulers in the metropolitan area. Staff are completing this analysis and will bring forward a council workshop item before the end of the year.

**per discussion held at council workshop August 8, 2022, the special revenue fund for Communications will be absorbed into the general fund budget due to federal regulation restricting the use of the funds. All revenues received from the cable network will be tracked and used for relevant capital activities in the facilities and capital equipment fund budgets. Beginning in 2022 this fund will no longer be adopted separately.
